All of the Avengers have fears. Some of them are more severe than the others, and some are no more than an irrational phobia.
Tony is scared of failure. He thinks that one day he’s just going to lose it- everyone he loves will leave him, everything he’s worked for will go down the drain, and he’ll just be left completely alone.
Steve hates of the cold. Whenever the group goes out during Winter, he always makes sure that he’s wearing multiple layers to keep from shivering. Coldness brings back terrible memories for Steve.
Clint is afraid of sleeping. He hasn’t had a good night’s rest in at least ten years, and his dreams are filled of his abusive older brother, Barney Barton, and the awful nights of when he was beaten at his childhood orphanage.
Natasha is scared of letting people in. She feels if she lets someone get to know her too well, she’ll be betrayed like she always previously was, and end up getting hurt by them. She wants to love, but is scared to. Clint is the only one who knows her fear.
Thor is scared of the fact that he’s not fearful of his brother. He fears that his love for Loki will bring him vulnerability- but he can’t bring himself to be scared of Loki. He loves him too much to hate him. Ever.
And Bruce… well. Bruce is afraid of himself.

Loki- Spoils of War by ~Yuuram93
this is a really suggestive piece and the hardest one i’ve ever decided to do o x o
some of the reasons why i made the avengers hold certain places:
Thor: you know, brotherly affection (although I ship ThorKi like no one’s business♥) so his touch should be the most comforting and familial
Natasha: being able to relate to loki when it comes to being a skilled liar, i would think she would be holding the metal clamp to signify that “ha! i outdidyou” in the lying department. not to mention as payback for having herself “compromised” by the liesmith
Clint: yea i just related his gesture/posture with the way he handles his weapon and, since he was on loki’s team for a while, i wanted it to feel familial like thor
Bruce/Hulk: …that’s the only place where i could put him lol & not really grabbing, more like supporting, since he could do some serious damage otherwise
Steve: being the most innocent (in my mind) of the group and having those high-held morals, i would think that this would be uncomfortable for him so he just holds on to loki’s hand in a comforting way
Tony: he’s just being tony in this one, i actually contemplated having thor in his position instead, since it’s the boldest gesture (not to mention suggestive) but tony is the very definition of that lol
